Inkema supplies a variety of construction systems. Through a preliminary assessment, we identify the best solution tailored to each project, facility and loading dock.

The concept behind Inkema’s construction systems is simple: they are designed to meet the requirements of every type of installation.

  • Embedded Frame: Dock levellers with an Embedded Frame require a pre-frame to be fixed into the pit. This pre-frame is installed during the pit formwork stage. Its main advantage is that the dock leveller is attached to the pit only by weld seams, providing great flexibility when replacing, relocating or upgrading the equipment.
  • Self-Supporting Frame: Dock levellers with a Self-Supporting Frame do not require a separate pre-frame, as it is already integrated into the equipment. The main advantage is that both the frame and the dock leveller are installed simultaneously, reducing installation time.
  • Box Model without tail-lift recess: The Box Model without a tail-lift recess uses the dock leveller itself as the formwork element. This system reduces installation costs and construction time by eliminating the need for a conventional pit.
  • Box Model with permanent formwork for tail-lift recess: It is often necessary to accommodate vehicles equipped with tail lifts. For this reason, Inkema has developed the Box Model with a dedicated recess to house the tail lift during loading and unloading operations, using a hollow permanent formwork structure.
