As you know, the loading and unloading process at loading docks is a critical operation, especially for facilities that require a high level of sealing performance. Maintaining the cold chain throughout transportation, loading and storage processes is essential. Likewise, energy efficiency is a key factor in reducing the cost of maintaining a constant temperature within the facility.
One of Inkema’s solutions for loading and unloading operations is the installation of Cold Chain Systems with either a dock leveller or a loading bridge. In this particular case, we are talking about the recent installation of more than 16 Cold Chain Systems with a hydraulic loading bridge as an indoor loading point for a major distribution chain in Huevar (Seville).

This Cold Chain System (PFIP model) consists of the following logistics equipment:
- A hydraulic loading bridge
- Thermal insulation system
- Steel truck bumpers
- An inflatable dock shelter
- An insulated sectional door
The only difference between a Cold Chain System installed as an indoor loading point and one installed externally is that the external version requires the addition of a steel dock house and an insulated tunnel, which together function as an external loading dock.
