At INKEMA, we have great news to share: we have successfully completed the relocation to our new facilities in Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona). The new plant features more than 13,000 m² of usable floor space on a site exceeding 30,000 m², significantly increasing our company’s production capacity.
The facilities are located in the El Ramassar Nord Industrial Estate and are twice the size of our previous premises. This major investment not only increases our production capacity, but also enhances productivity and our internal logistics model in a strategic location. Les Franqueses del Vallès offers direct access to the AP-7 and C-17 motorways and is situated just 20 km from Barcelona and 120 km from the French border.
The new factory has become one of the most important facilities in the country for the manufacture of loading ramps and loading and unloading solutions by implementing a production line system. To achieve this, a variety of Lean Manufacturing tools have been adopted, while all processes are carried out under a continuous improvement philosophy.
All departments are now fully operational, including manufacturing, technical service, spare parts, and customer support. This new facility will allow us to increase current production levels and meet the growing national and international demand for loading docks, lift tables, yard ramps, and all types of industrial doors (high-speed, sectional, and fire-rated).
Inkema therefore continues its long-term business development strategy to remain one of the leading REFERENCES in the manufacture of loading docks and industrial closure systems, thanks to more than 35 years of dedication and hard work.
