The most common loading bay accessories are dock bumpers, truck guides and traffic lights. Their purpose is to protect the loading bay, improve vehicle manoeuvring and increase safety during loading and unloading operations.

The specific combination depends on traffic volume, vehicle types and the operational requirements of the facility.

Flush-mounted dock bumpers are integrated into the building façade and absorb truck impacts at body height, protecting the building without protruding beyond the façade.

Raised dock bumpers incorporate an elevated structure that positions the impact-absorption area higher, allowing them to adapt to different vehicle types.
